I picked up a broccoli kale gluten free pizza crust from Trader Joe’s. I was okay enough with most of the ingredients to buy it. Using vegan cheese, mushrooms, onions and sundried tomatoes, it was really about the olives that night. I even added more olives after taking my pizza out of the oven. It was scrumptious!
Pizza is an excellent example of Peace in action and the power of choice. Every element has its own unique presence. Depending on your mood, you choose which flavor will stand out the most. You can also decide to place everything evenly on the crust and taste the flavors together, letting their distinctions touch your tongue individually and allowing your mind to discern the flavors.
In life, daily, and moment by moment, we choose our mood. We decide how we are going to interact with people. If such interactions are on our part going to be flowing or if we are going to create endless hierarchical situations. If we choose the hierarchical path, is it from a place of love?
Choosing the flow and hierarchical love paths allows your love to touch others and lets the minds of those you touch discern the flavor of your intention without defense. This is a choice of support, acknowledgement and self-significance along with the significance of others.
A hierarchical path based on pure superiority garners walls of mistrust and defensiveness. This choice is based on insecurity, imbalance and placing lower value on others and unintentionally lowering the value of self.
